Pointingfish was born from a simple observation: the mortgage industry runs on documents, but the tools available to process them were built for generic use cases. Tax returns, servicing histories, title chains, appraisal narratives—each one has structure, vocabulary and rules that generic OCR vendors simply don't understand.
We assembled a team of financial services operators alongside product engineers and ML researchers who had worked together in other regulated verticals at scale. The result is a platform that doesn't just read documents—it understands what they mean inside a loan file.
